These are a few of the images created from my digital pinhole camera set up. I love the colors that you get from using the pinhole method it was really fun to do, I am definitely going to with this set up. The one thing I did notice (and this will more than likely change in the summer) is that you have a very short amount of time to get good photos (from about 1-3:30) before the sun is out of position and you start losing light.

Hiya and welcome Interwebs, my name is Devin and this blog is dedicated to the projects I create for my MADT 101 (Media Arts & Digital Technology) class. It will be a record of not only the out come of the projects but the development processes as well.
I am currently working on my first and second week project since I transferred into the class late and am playing a bit of catch up. The first project was to rethink a digital object and do something unusual or unexpected with it or from it. I struggled with this one for a while especially as I had seen what my classmates already did for this project and did not want to bite on their ideas. Then I got a “Mind Flash” (ah see what I did there) and I decide to create a pinhole camera lens for my Digital SLR camera. I always loved pinhole photography, but dislike dealing with the development of film or the use of photo paper. The DIY lens allowed me to continue to explore pinhole photography and stay within the realm of digital photography which I enjoy a lot more. The resulting photos will be posted on a following blog post.
